Our approach
We never wanted to play by the rules, so we gave the old Pultec® a little twist.
By combining vintage circuitry with modern technological know-how, we created the perfect equalizer, the Audified 1A,
where innovation meets tradition.

Perfectly balanced
It’s familiar to everyone. The signature boost and cut of the low and high frequencies
is an integral part of the original units. We’ve also applied the classic
Boost and cut technique!

Measure and enjoy distortion
Keep an eye on the THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) meter
so you always know how much of that sweet richness you’re experiencing.

heart and soul of this plugin, so go for it!

Mid/Side Processing
Get control of your soundstage with the Mid/Side Processing (M/S) feature.
Mid/Side Processing separates the sound into its mid and side components, giving you the ability to create
the center of your mix and the edges of your stereo signal separately. Create your perfect mix
or master and enhance the overall color with adjustable parameters and switchable L/R and M/S modes.

Drums
Powerful drums are what everyone strives for. Add a little low-end boost to the kick and snare sound;
your drums will sound much tighter and more enjoyable to listen to.

Guitar
Make your guitars more defined and expressive.
Add or subtract bass from your guitar as needed, or add some punch and definition to the top end.

Bass
Improve your bass by adding punch, weight, and definition. Boosting the low end and cutting harsh highs will make your bass stand out.

Boost
The most familiar use of this device is the old fashioned way of cutting and boosting.
You’ll achieve noticeable volume and fullness by boosting a frequency and cutting it just a little less than you boosted it.

A Little History
When Eugene Richard Schenk created this device in the 1950s, the original design changed the game.
The original device has been used on countless hits from the 50s to this day and remains a staple in the music industry.
We took the essence and added our technical expertise and sound engineering experience to it. Our technology and love of tube devices
is reflected in our plugins and studio work, and continues to inspire musicians around the world
to create instruments. So don’t think of 1A EQ as a “copy and paste” (as if such a thing exists) – think of it as an homage and an evolution.

• Our release uses fewer resources, especially when running multiple instances of the plugin.

It also fixes a minor issue with the Audified license between threads.

• The plugin has a built-in Lexa Activator emulator, which returns valid license information to the software
and manages the callback system. This also avoids writing incorrect data to the registry (LexActivator bug).
